HISTORY
Tokyo Boeki Medisys was founded in 1999 as a medical device manufacturer, and has been contributed for over 20 years to improving healthcare and the well-being of people around the world.
Especially, our fully automated clinical chemistry analyzer “Biolis Series” has achieved accumulative sales of over 9,000 units and is trusted in hospitals and laboratories across more than 80 countries.
In Japan, we also provide comprehensive clinical laboratory systems, with “Biolis Series” widely adopted by healthcare facilities nationwide.
Now, as a proud member of “Sakae Co. Ltd.,” group, we are entering a new chapter under the name “Biolis Medical Corp.” While our name has changed, our mission remains the same - to contribute to the better health and well-being of people around the world.
1999
- Founded Tokyo Boeki Medical Systems (Akiruno city in Tokyo)
- Established Osaka office
- Established Fukuoka office

2003
- Acquired CE Marking
- Acquired UL Standard
- Acquired ISO9001
2005
- Established Sendai office
- More than 1,000 units of Biolis series in the world
- Established Sapporo office
2006
- Established Technical center in Akiruno city, Tokyo for storengthening R&D
- A large scale 500 units of Biolis were ordered from Russian health department for the first time since its founding.
- Moved to headquarters in Tachikawa city, Tokyo
- Established Hiroshima office
- Established Nagoya office
2009
- Started to sell automated clinical analyzer BiOLiS 24i Premium
- Started to sell automated clinical analyzer BiOLiS 12i
- Moved to headquarters in Technical center Akiruno city for integrating developing and admistration section.
2011
- Changed to Tokyo Boeki Medisys from Tokyo Boeki Medical Systems
- The new headquarters was completed in Hino city, Tokyo
2012
- Started to sell automated clinical analyzer BIOLIS 50i Superior
- Started to sell automated clinical analyzer BiOLiS 15i NEO
- Started to sell laboratory information system (LIS)
- More than 5,000 units of BIOLIS series in the world
2013
- Acquired ISO13485 in headquartes
2015
- Purchased the medical device department from Tokyo Boeki Machinery
- Increased the capital 200 million yen from 100 million yen
- Established Hacchobori office, moved to Kyobashi office in Jan, 2017

2016
- Started to sell automated clinical analyzer BIOLIS 30i

- Became the group company of Sakae Co.Ltd., and changed company name to “Biolis Medical Corp.”
